As product developers and observers of trends for our jewelry maker marketplace, the team at Nunn Design is continually tracking the ebb and flow of sales. This helps guide us in so many of our business decisions, but ultimately it helps us manufacture jewelry findings that sell for all of us.
When asked a couple months ago about the trend of bangles and cuff bracelets, I thought we had seen the peak of sales within this category of products and were sliding down into decline. This is a typical pattern within the lifespan of a product.
With the explosion of bangles from leading industry brands such as Alex and Ani, I just couldn’t see the peak of sales continuing on, so we scaled back our ordering and started to “move on” to other categories of products. But, this category of products hasn’t declined. In fact, it has done the opposite. It has had an upturn.
