Postal Increase Coming January 1st, 2017
Earlier in 2016, the United States Postal Service implemented rate increases on First Class and Priority shipments. On March 1st, 2016 we implemented a rate increase that reflected a portion of the total increase by USPS. January 1st, 2017 we will be implementing another small increase to First Class and Priority shipments, both domestically and internationally. Of course, we will do our best to keep the increase down to the minimum.
As of November 1st, 2016 we will be implementing a new shipping policy for certain mixed-media supplies. For domestic shipments, the following items have special packaging and handling requirements that are regulated by the United States Postal Service.
Gel du Soleil
Crystal Clay
Nunn Design Resin Kit
Castin’ Craft Opaque Pigment
G-S Hypo Cement (United States Postal Service Ground Only)
The above mixed-media supplies will need to ship in a brown box as opposed to a USPS Flat Rate Box. In an effort to keep shipping costs down, we will select the most economical shipping method for these items. In some cases this may require that your order containing certain mixed media supplies, will ship via UPS. The transit time for UPS shipments can be longer than Priority shipments through the USPS.
In addition, due to the shipping policy change to certain mixed-media supplies, we may be required to implement a shipping cost increase on shipments that include the above stated items. You will be notified at a later date if this indeed happens.
