New Hoops and Jumprings! – Nunn Design 2019 Winter Collection Preview
January 10, 2019 Nunn Design will release the 2019 Winter Collection. This is part of a series of posts in which we highlight the full collection. Each blog post will provide all of the fine details – hopefully inspiring you to create!
In this blog post, we highlight a new Hoop Connector and a collection of Jumprings! The Hoop is cast in lead-free pewter and plated with copper, 24k gold and .999 fine silver. The Jumprings are solid brass wire and also plated. All of this is manufactured right here in the USA and are to the standard that you have come to expect from Nunn Design.
New Hoops!
Although we have had other hoops within the collection, these hoops seemed like a “must have” when it came to designing in a more organic style. I loved the more organic look to these hoops and how they really provided just the right weight and finish to the jewelry. The models for these hoops were hand crafted by myself and cast in lead-free pewter. We then plate in copper, 24k gold and .999 fine silver. A final plating process of oxidization is applied to provide the aged look to the precious plating.
Hoop Twisted Large
The outer dimensions measure in at approximately 24 x 22 x 3mm with the inner dimensions being approximately 18 x 16 x 3mm. They are ideal to use with the Nunn Design Jumpring Collections. Hoops are sold in packs of 10 and are cast and plated in the USA.

New Jumprings!
There are 5 new jumprings being added to the Nunn Design Findings Line. They are 6mm and 12mm Bark Circles, 10mm Hammered Edge Circles, 12mm Textured Circles and 12mm Square Wire Hammered Circles. All of them serve a great design purpose by adding a different look and flair to your jewelry designs.
All five of the jumprings are formed out of solid brass wire in a variety of gauges. Please review each of the ruler images for exact sizing and the gauge of brass used to create the jumpring. All are plated in copper, 24k gold, .999 fine silver and ‘sterling’ silver. 3 of the plates are then oxidized in an additional plating process to create an aged look to the precious metals. Jumprings are sold in bulk packs of 50 pieces or 10 pieces per pack depending on the item. All manufacturing is done in the USA.
