New Flat Tags and Charms! – Nunn Design 2019 Winter Collection Preview
January 10, 2019 Nunn Design will release the 2019 Winter Collection. This is part of a series of posts in which highlight the full collection. Each blog post will provide all of the fine details – hopefully inspiring you to create!
In this blog post, we highlight new Flat Tags and Charms! All of the Nunn Design charms featured here are cast in lead-free pewter and plated with copper, 24k gold and .999 fine silver. All of this is manufactured right here in the USA and are to the standard that you have come to expect from Nunn Design.
Let me introduce to you to the new 2019 collection!
New Flat Tags:
There are 2 new flat tags releasing in the 2019 Winter Collection. These Nunn Design Flat Tags are part of the Primitive Tag series. Primitive Tags have a handmade look and feel on one side of the tag, but a flat and even surface on the back. They are ideal for metal stamping and resin work.
Primitive Tag Elongated Diamond & Primitive Tag Mini Circle.
Nunn Design Flat Tags are cast in lead-free pewter and are plated for metal stamping and engraving. They are available in 3 plates; copper, 24k gold and .999 fine silver. Tags are oxidized in a final plating step to provide an aged finish. Tags are sold in bulk packs of 10 pieces. All of this manufacturing is done in the USA.
The Primitive Tag Elongated Diamond Single Hole is 41 x 10.2 x 2.2mm deep. The hole size is 2.6mm, fitting most of the Nunn Design Jump Ring Collection
The Primitive Tag Mini Circle Single Hole are 10.7mm in diameter and 1.5mm deep. The hole size is 2.4mm.

New Charms:
This collection of double-sided charms has to be my new favorite! The models for this series were created using shells and organics that I gathered on my morning walks here in Port Townsend, WA. I found them very exciting to design with and very much on trend with the fashion we will see coming this year.
Charm Organic Scallop Shell and Charm Organic Mussel Shell.
There are a total of 6 new charms within the 2019 Winter Collection, all with a nature and sea theme. If you overlook these because you aren’t living in a costal area, I ask you to rethink this. Cacti and succulents are outrageously popular regardless of the demographic.
Charm Itsy Sea Snail, Charm Small Turret Shell & Charm Small Narwhal (aka Unicorn Horn!)
All of these charms are cast in lead-free pewter and are available in 3 plates; copper, 24k gold and .999 fine silver. Charms are oxidized in a final plating step to provide an aged finish and sold in bulk packs of 10 pieces. All of this manufacturing is done in the USA. Take a look at the ruler shots to see the sizing and dimensions. The holes are perfect for the Nunn Design Jump Ring Collection.
