Make These Organic Hoop with Crystal Charm Earrings! Free Tutorial & Video

Supplies Needed:

Making of the Crystal Charms
Step 1:
The Nunn Design Findings are oxidized to provide an aged look to the precious metal plating. Clean the bezels thoroughly prior to applying glue. Dip the tip of a Q-Tip into rubbing alcohol and clean away any of the blackened oxidization from the bezels.
Step 2:
Squeeze a small amount of glue onto a piece of plastic. Dip a toothpick into the glue and smear the glue around the inside edges of the bezel. Insert a crystal chaton. If there is any excess glue that has squished out the sides, clean it up with a toothpick and rubbing alcohol.
Repeat for the second Crystal Charm.
Assembling the Earrings
Step 3:
Next, attach the Crystal Charm to the Organic Hoop with a 6mm Jumpring. Using two pair of needle nose pliers, hold one of the 6mm Textured Circle Jumprings at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. Pull one of the sets of pliers with one hand forward and the other set of pliers back to open the jumpring. Insert onto the jump ring the Crystal Charm and an Organic Hoop. Hold the jumpring again at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. Pull one of the sets of pliers with one hand forward and the other set of pliers back to close the jumpring. Repeat for the other earring.
Step 4:
Now, attach the Organic Hoop to the 9mm Textured jumpring. To attach the 9mm Textured Circle Jumpring to the Organic Hoop, open it using two pair of needle nose pliers. Hold one pair of pliers at 3 o’clock and the other at 9 o’clock. Pull one of the sets of pliers with one hand forward and the other set of pliers back to open the jumpring. Attach onto the jumpring the Organic Hoop. Hold the jumpring again at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock with the pliers. Pull one of the sets of pliers with one hand forward and the other set of pliers back to close the jumpring.
Step 5:
Attach the 6mm Textured Jumpring onto the 9mm Jumpring. Repeat Steps 4 & 5 for the other earring.
STEP 6:
Slightly bend back the balled section of the earwire. Attach the 6mm Textured Circle Jumpring. Bend back into place the balled section of the earwire.
Repeat to make the pair.
