Open Frame Hoops might just look like a round circle to some. For others, they will recognize the potential of designing and creating with a continuous hoop that doesn’t need to be soldered closed. That was my inspiration behind offering this category of products. If I wanted to design with them, my hope was that you would too.
Before I start to inspire you with some of our creations, let me give you the run down on each of the hoops. The Open Frame Hoops are available in 4 sizes. They are made from a durable 12 gauge brass wire with a seamless joint and are plated in copper, 24k gold and .999 fine silver. All are made and plated in the USA.
The Open Frame Hoop Grande is the largest of the hoops. The outer dimensions measure 49mm in diameter with the inner dimensions 45mm diameter. Open Frame Hoop Grande is sold in a pack of 10 piece. All are available with a copper, 24k gold or .999 fine silver plating.
The Open Frame Hoop Large outer dimensions measure 34.8mm diameter with the inner dimensions 30.6mm diameter. Open Frame Hoop Large is sold in a pack of 10 pieces. All are available with a copper, 24k gold or .999 fine silver plating.
The Open Frame Hoop Small has the outer dimensions of 24.5mm diameter with the inner dimensions 20.4mm diameter. Open Frame Hoop Small is sold in a pack of 10 pieces. All are available with a copper, 24k gold and .999 fine silver plating.
The Open Frame Hoop Mini has the outer dimensions of 12.2mm diameter with the inner dimensions 8.2mm diameter. Open Frame Hoop Mini is sold in a pack of 10 pieces. All are available with a copper, 24k gold and .999 fine silver plating.

I about exploded when I spotted what Cheryl was working on with these pieces. This technique is created with leftover resin bits. Instead of letting the resin go hard in the cup after Art Day usage, she poured the resin onto plastic and let it cure. She then used scissors and a hole-punch to create this collage look. Can you say AWESOME!

I love how Christee created these Mica Crystal Clay drops to incorporate into her design.

In this necklace, Heather used the Open Frame Hoops to create a color-blocked pendant. She also used the Open Frame Hoops for the closure. I loved how this look is completely different than other pieces. A more modern contemporary feel.

Melissa created these pieces using the Open Frame Hoop as a connector. I love how each of these pieces show a different way in which the hoop is connected to the chain.
LOVE THE COLORS! Here is an example of using the Open Frame Hoops with Colorized Resin.
