Christi Friesen at Play!

Last month, at our Nunn Design 2017 Spring Art Retreat, we had the one and only fabulous Christi Friesen as our Artist in Residence. Christi is an internationally known polymer clay artist and we were lucky to nail her down for a weekend to have her come play!

Christi spent her full art retreat exploring with Nunn Design findings. Boy did she create up a storm! It is fun to see what another artist creates with the same pieces that I, myself, play with day in and day out. She combined things and colorized them in ways that I hadn’t even explored! Christi was truly an inspiration to me and to the rest of the art retreat students.

Christi is working on tutorials for some of these projects, but let me show you some of the work that she created while she was here on retreat.

Polymer Clay Play

It is fun to see the nature themed creations that Christi puts together. She sure makes working with polymer clay look simple!

Beadcaps!

Oh so many beadcaps, oh so well placed!

Faceted Beads!

Fun play with Nunn Design Faceted Beads!

Swellegant Paints!

Brass Stampings are a great fit for Christi’s Swellegant Paint Line.

Thank you Christi! We had a blast having you!
