I’m not sure how I got signed-up for FedEx’s newsletter. Just when I was about to complain that someone added me without me ‘asking’, I started to glance at the posts in their newsletter.
Surprisingly I found a lot of the content to be interesting and helpful! Here is one that I really enjoyed; Build a Great Business Blog.
The author covers 9 excuses that bloggers often make to not keep their blog up to date. Here is a quick list of all the points covered:
• Excuse #1: Are blogs still around in this day and age?
• Excuse #2: But I’m already on Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest — I don’t need a blog.
• Excuse #3: I don’t have a lot of money to spend on designing a blog.
• Excuse #4: I don’t have anything to talk about.
• Excuse #5: It’s too difficult to come up with unique content.
• Excuse #6: I’m not really a writer.
• Excuse #7: I’m too busy to blog.
• Excuse #8: My readership numbers have plateaued.
• Excuse #9: My blog is doing great. There’s nothing left to do.

Of all the blogs I’ve subscribed to over the years, I just wanted to take the opportunity to say that this is perhaps one of, if not THE best I’ve ever seen. The organization, the links to other projects, and the awesome tutorials would have been enough to put this blog right at the top, but it also has a heart that reaches down past the artisan right to the human level. This one very key element, in my opinion, pushes Nunn Design’ s blog over the top. I look forward to receiving it every week. Keep up the great work! And thank you.
