Artisan Feature Samantha Slater
It is always inspiring to learn how people have discovered their passion for creating jewelry. In Samantha Slater’s case, it was while she was idle and waiting for a US work permit, after her move from South Africa. After a friend showed her some basic jewelry techniques, she knew it was love at first sight.
Her passion for learning more led her to work within the jewelry community once her work permit came through. As she continued to learn, she started to teach jewelry making classes all over Seattle.
