How to Prepare the UV Curing Lamp
We have had a lot of questions about how to insert the light bulb on the uv lamp that we offer. Silly us, there aren’t any instructions! Well, there are now and this is what you will find when you purchase a uv lamp from Nunn Design in the future.
How to Prepare the UV Curing Lamp
STEP 1:
Remove the lamp from the box and carefully remove the light bulb from the box as well. Both are shipped separately (in the same box) to prevent breakage.
STEP 2:
Disregard the notations on the UV lamp that say “OPEN” and “NEPO” – we know it seems like you should be able to ‘open’ the top of the lamp; however this is difficult to do and is not necessary for installing the light bulb.
STEP 3:
Flip the UV lamp upside down. Look for the light socket at one end of the lamp (on the end where the cord comes out).
STEP 4:
Holding the lamp upside down with one hand with the light socket end closest to you, carefully match up the end of the light with the prongs and the socket and then gently press the bulb from the opposite end of the prongs until it clicks into place. You may need to push a bit hard to get the light to click into place.
STEP 5:
Turn lamp right side up and plug in. Using the power switch, turn on the lamp, your UV light should illuminate.
You are now ready to cure your cuties!
