Sneak Peek!- Hammered Rings!

I’m sure I’m guilty of proclaiming this before with other Nunn Design Findings, but THESE Hammered Rings are my favorites! I love, love, love them! They are stackable, but yet they can stand-alone. They are funky and fun, but can be dressed up with pearls and look oh so elegant. They are sweet, yet sassy. They are hip, yet classic. I’m telling you, the only thing I can think to complain about is that we have only offered them in three sizes; 6, 7 and 8!

Our 2015 Winter Collection of Hammered Rings are cast in lead-free pewter and plated with copper, 24k gold or .999 fine silver. As mentioned earlier, they are available in sizes 6, 7 and 8 with each ring being stamping on the inside to mark the size. Here are some inspirations to get you on the same “love” boat as I am about these!

Add Sculpted Relief

I planned to do a tutorial on Sculpted Relief Rings early next month. I used the same technique as our downloadable tutorial on Sculpted Relief. While I pressed the clay into the mold, I also had a strip of clay on the backside wrapped around the ring shank. Hard to describe, so stay tuned if you aren’t following me. It is super easy and really fun!

Wire Wrap It!

As you can see, I had some fun with wire wrapping. Wrapped rings are quick and easy to make and the possibilities just go on and on. It was sort-of addicting once I got wrapping!

Dangle Something Purdy!

In addition to being rings, they make great connectors too!
