Buy & Try Metal Stamping Giveaway

2014buytrymetalstampinggiveaway

***GIVEAWAY CLOSED***We wind down each of our Buy & Try Programs with a Giveaway. This Giveaway will allow you to win enough tools and Nunn Design Flat Tags to get you started playing with the technique of metal stamping.

Last week, we created a long overdue tutorial titled: 17 Tips For Metal Stamping on Nunn Design Flat Tags. Nunn Design Metal Stamping Blanks are cast in lead-free pewter and plated with copper, .999 fine silver or 24k gold. Pewter, as a metal, is softer than the various gauges of sheet metal and can be a bit of a surprise to those who have experienced stamping with force to get an impression. Download the tutorial here.

  1. Heather Martin says:

The first thing I would stamp would be “Stay Strong”. The reason for that is because I have major health issues that keep arising and always want to wear something to remind me that no matter what, I am and will always be Strong.
Also, I want to stamp this for some cancer patients I know at the Cancer Center my grandfather goes to for his care and treatment, because these people I have met over the past several months have inspired me to no end.

  2. Sandra Ferhad says:

I would stamp the word “HOPE” as a reminder to never give up on my hope. It is also the name I chose for my beautiful niece and it is her 15th birthday next month 🙂 it would make a sweet gift.

  3. Nancy Lacke says:

The word I would stamp is “fierce.” There are so many women struggling with health issues, domestic violence, or disadvantaged. Wearing a tag with this word hopefully will be a reminder that they can overcome whatever their situation is.

  4. Kathy Gallant says:

My word woul be “Meliora” which translates to “Always striving to be better”. It is the “battlecry” of the Universisty of Rochester where my daughter attended and I always thought it was so inspiring. It must have worked because she is finishing her PhD. at Berkeley and has just moved to UNC Chapel Hill to start her post-doctorate in Chemical Biology! All this from a mom who strings beads for a living!

  5. Jen says:

I have been stamping on the flat tags for years. My favorite stamps to use are the bird and animal stamps. Love the newest shaped tags.

  6. Susan Samuel says:

I would stamp, SMILE. To see someone smiling as you go past tends to make you feel happier and perhaps put a smile on your own face too.

  7. Carol Briody says:

I would stamp ‘Cherry’ and a little cherry fruit! This would be to honor my little miracle Yorkie pup (named Cherry!). She made it thru major ‘pup surgery’ and astounds me everyday with her renewed spunk and vigor! I’m thrilled and ever so grateful she is still here with me!

  8. Susan H. says:

I would stamp the letter “Q”. This is the beginning letter of my maiden name and would think of my parents every time I wore it. Thanks for the chance to win.

  9. Jamie says:

I would stamp my name. If I ever forgot it I could look at my Nunn bangle tag. 🙂 Actually I would stamp 2015 with my new number stamps. My only niece is graduating high school next year in June. It will go great on the Nunn charm bangles that I already made her.

  10. Katie James says:

Fun giveaway! I think I would stamp the word “TRY” and see how it goes with a few letters to start. I love the new sets!

  11. Gillian Cunningham Wright says:

I want to make a pretty medic alert tag one personalised to my taste instead of the mass produced ones. Then gemstone and stamped tagnecklaces for presents for friends. Thanks Becky and team for another amazing giveaway.

  12. Deborah O'Keefe says:

I have been so intrigued by the idea of stamping but I haven’t tried it yet. I guess my word would be FIERCE to incorporate into a piece for my granddaughter from the Shakespeare quote “Though she be but little she is fierce”. It is my favorite quote for her. I have a feeling I’d better limit myself to one word as a first attempt.
Thanks for always having such great products and inspiring ideas.
I buy from you under the name Calico Cat Designs. My jewelry is marketed under the name Boo James.

  13. Jen Purple says:

Great giveaway! The first word I would stamp would be something cheerful such as “Inspire” – but then there are so many that come to mind following that. People always notice jewelry, especially well made jewelry and I think that any opportunity to share a positive word is great! I love the new Fall collection and am excited to work with it.

  14. SuzI Stenhouse says:

Would really love to win this one! Opens up so many options with jewellery making. I think the first word I would stamp would be ‘winner’!!!
