When Covid first hit, I was concerned that we would see a large dip in our rings sales due to the amount of time that people were being encouraged to wash their hands. We even thought about cutting this section of our line for a wee second or two, but we snapped out of it! Boy, I am glad! The customers who like rings, well, they like A LOT of rings.

Bitsy Rings

Nunn Design Bitsy Rings are created in the USA. Here are some fun facts explaining the manufacturing process of these little stackable cuties.

The brass for both the bezels and the ring shanks are imported, but enough steps are taken in the manufacturing process to be able to claim that these items are made in the USA.
The bezels are brass and machined stamped and formed.
The ring shanks are brass and machined for precision on sizing. Nunn Design offers sizes 7, 8 and 9.
Bezels are soldered onto the ring shanks with lead-free solder.
Next the rings are cleaned and then and plated in the USA with precious imported metals. Copper, 24k gold and .999 silver.
Bitsy Rings are quality controlled, counted and packaged into easy to purchase quantities.

Classic Adjustable Rings

The beauty of the Nunn Design Collection of Classic Adjustable Rings is that they are…adjustable! This allows for you to stock just one size and make them work for all of your customer’s ring size needs.

Here is the scoop!

The brass for both the bezels and the ring shanks are imported, but enough steps are taken in the manufacturing process to be able to claim that these items are made in the USA.
The bezels are brass and machined stamped and formed.
Bezels are soldered onto the ring shanks with lead-free solder.
The ring shanks are brass. To make sure that the rings are plated evenly where the adjustable seam overlaps, rings are “gapped” to make sure that the plating is consistent and to the quality of what you expect from Nunn Design.
Next the rings are cleaned and then and plated in the USA with precious imported metals. Copper, 24k gold and .999 silver.
Rings are reformed, quality controlled, counted and packaged into easy to purchase quantities.

Open Frame Rings

These rings look contemporary and clean, but MAN are they a challenge to manufacture! They are way more complicated then you might think!

Here is the manufacturing process:

The brass for both the bezels and the ring’s shanks are imported, but enough steps are taken in the manufacturing process to be able to claim that these items are made in the USA.
The bezel part of these rings is cut from a large tubing and formed.
The brass ring shanks are sized and formed, taking into exact consideration the sizing. This is tricky! We offer sizes 6, 7 and 8.
Bezels are soldered into the ring shanks with lead-free solder.
Next the rings are cleaned and then and plated in the USA with precious imported metals. Copper, 24k gold and .999 silver.
Rings are quality controlled, counted and packaged into easy to purchase quantities.

Hammered Rings & Organic Rings

What I love about these rings is that the size is stamped in the inside rim!

Nunn Design Hammered Rings are cast from pewter in the USA with imported lead-free pewter.
Hammered Rings are available in sizes 6, 7 and 8. The sizes are stamped on the inside ring.
Organic Rings are available only in size 7.
Rings are cleaned and plated in the USA with precious imported metals. Copper, 24k gold and .999 silver.
Next, we quality control, count and package into easy to purchase quantities.

Ornate Rings & Traditional Rings

Nunn Design Ornate and Traditional Rings have a cast bezel soldered onto an adjustable brass shank. Pretty neat, huh?

Bezels are cast from pewter in the USA with imported lead-free pewter.
The brass for the adjustable ring shanks are imported, but enough steps are taken in the manufacturing process to be able to claim that these items are made in the USA.
Cast bezels are soldered onto the brass ring shanks with lead-free solder.
To make sure that the rings are plated even where the adjustable seam overlaps, rings are “gapped” to make sure that the plating is consistent and to the quality of what you expect from Nunn Design.
Next the rings are cleaned and then plated in the USA with precious imported metals. Copper, 24k gold and .999 silver.
