What is the Nunn Design 2019 Fall Semester of online classes?
Creative people, especially jewelry designers that are creating the same production pieces over and over again, need to be inspired to create something new. The Nunn Design 2019 Fall Semester is all about exploring and being curious to try new techniques with a minimal amount of investment and creative risk.

All of the fall semester’s online classes and tutorials are FREE of charge. Supplies for the 2019 Fall Semester series of online classes go on sale TODAY. Below is an outline of the supplies that will be needed for each of the 4 classes. If you purchase a Findings Class Kit and a Technique Class Kit, you will be set with all the findings and techniques supplies needed.

If you have some of the supplies already, the “a la carte” route will be the best way for you to stock-up on class supplies.

If purchased by September 30th, supplies will arrive in time for your first class, which begins October 11th.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS. Due to postal regulations, we are not able to ship the Technique Class Kit, Crystal Clay, Castin’ Craft Opaque Pigments, Glue and Nunn Design Resin Kits via the United States Postal System. These items will need to be shipped UPS, Fed-Ex or DHL

Class #1 Colorized Crystal Clay, Organics and Colorized Resin

The motivation for this technique is to make it easier for the maker to create fabulous pendants with a more streamlined process. By using colorized Crystal Clay in the base of the bezel, then applying the organics, only a single pour of resin is required! Learn how in Class 1 of the 2019 Fall Semester! In this class, we will cover:

• How to mix and colorize Crystal Clay using Castin’ Craft Opaque Pigments
• How to preserve and embed organics
• How to mix and colorize Nunn Design 2-Part Resin

Class #2 Create Texture with a Silicone Mold, Colorized Crystal Clay, PearlEx Powders and Nunn Design Resin

Learn how to create interesting textures into colorized Crystal Clay to make fabulous focal pieces! In this class you will learn:

• How to create a silicone mold using organics or found objects
• How to mix and colorize Crystal Clay with Castin’ Craft Opaque Pigments

Class #3 Organics & ND Resin in Open Back Hoops

Using hoops, as opposed to bezels, is a fun way to create organic resin jewelry. In this class you will learn:

• How to preserve and use organics within resin
• How to use open back hoops with resin
• How to mix Nunn Design 2-Part Resin
• How to drill resin or apply a hinged bail

Class #4 Colorized Crystal Clay with Jacquard PearlEx Powders

I love this contemporary look that is created with colorized Crystal Clay and Jacquard PearlEx Powders. Once you get the hang of the process, the creativity is endless! In this class you will learn:

• How to mix and colorize Crystal Clay with Castin’ Craft Opaque Pigments
• How to use PearlEx Powders to add color designs
• How to use Colorized Crystal Clay to create a fun ball pendant

• The Nunn Design 2019 Fall Semester of online tutorials are free of charge.
• We will be offering 4 online classes during the 2019 Fall Semester, 1 each week on a Friday. You can participate in 1 class or all 4. You get to choose.
• Once you enroll to take the online classes, you will be invited to join our 2019 Fall Semester private Facebook Group.
• The day before each class, a reminder email will be mailed out notifying you of the online class that will be going live that week and letting you know all of the supplies you will need for that class.
• On the date of each of the 4 classes, the full step-by-step tutorial will be posted on the Nunn Design Blog.
• The day of the class going live, we will be hosting a Facebook Watch Party where you can join in and watch the full class with the Team at Nunn Design.
• You can watch a replay of the Facebook Watch Party and participate in the 2019 Fall Semester of classes on Facebook at anytime.
• The team at Nunn Design will be available to answer any questions that you might have by monitoring the private Facebook Group.
