An attractive booth, stall or store is what excites shoppers’ attention. It is a fun and critical part of any selling success. Featured here are several ideas on how I incorporate my vintage finds to create visually intriguing displays.
Vintage frames stacked in interesting ways create an intriguing display piece to show finished jewelry samples.
Small glass dishes and ephemera dress up any display. Attach finished pieces to old photographs as an easy way for customers to pick up and view jewelry.
Nunn Design has several displays that evoke that Old World look.
Create a common theme to show your items, giving your display an overall consistency and feel. Keep it simple so that customers focus on your jewelry.
Finding props that have a similar color palette and feel will give your display interest. If your pieces are more modern, choose items that reflect that.
Find unique baskets to display products instead of lining them up in neat rows. Set baskets at differing heights using old books or magazines make the tableau even more fascinating.
Drape necklaces over old shoe forms and wooden spools to create a vintage ambiance. Again, keeping your themes consistent in color and style will make the display easier on the eye. It is the jewelry you want the consumer to see!
Old bottles and dishes make wonderful display tools for rings.

Great display ideas!
I wish I were going to Rosemont to see this in person…the photos are stunning.
As to what I would place into the glass keepsakes; it takes me back to what it meant to treasure found objects as a child. Collections of feathers, round perfect pebbles, shells, ribbon, rhinestones, glitter, and watch parts. Creative magic awaits any of us who takes time to explore and cherish tiny treasures again. Thank you always for inspiration.
